Job Description

As a member of the Data Center GPU Performance Team, you will play a crucial role in developing future AMD products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining new simulations for workloads and hardware.
  • Staying up-to-date with new workloads, particularly AI models.
  • Collaborating closely with hardware architects, system engineers, and business teams to evaluate and understand performance characteristics.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Strong understanding of system architecture and hardware design.
  • Experience with modeling systems.
  • Understanding of AI workloads at a detailed level.
  • Proficiency in GPU software development and parallel programming.
  • Analytical and performance analysis skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Software development expertise in C++ and Python.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.

Academic credentials: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system architecture and hardware design, with experience in modeling systems and a deep understanding of AI workloads.

A successful candidate will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and leadership abilities.
