Financial Planning Analyst Role

The organization is seeking a seasoned Financial Planning Analyst to lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the global marketing organization.

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the global marketing organization
  • Analyze marketing campaign spend, conduct variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights
  • Partner with senior marketing leaders to optimize investments and drive cost efficiencies
  • Present financial performance and trends to stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy in tools like Allocadia and Ariba
  • Drive process improvements and automation across marketing finance workflows
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally in a marketing finance function
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Hands-on experience with Allocadia, Ariba, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong communication skills – ability to simplify complex data for non-financial audiences
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work under tight deadlines

Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, MBA, M.Com preferred)

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role requires a high level of proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools, as well as experience working with data visualization software. The successful candidate will be able to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, and drive process improvements through automation and optimization.
