Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.

You will work closely with project teams to translate project requirements into specifications and deliverables. Your primary focus will be on producing timely and high-quality project delivery, building and configuring dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Process.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies, assisting with Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.

Your experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering is essential, as is your hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modelling.

A strong understanding of Chemical Engineering principles and operations is also required, along with proficiency in modeling tools such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro etc.

Certification on modeling and simulation platform Aspen Plus / Hysys / Pro-II / Dynsim, etc. would be an advantage.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering – Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modelling.
  • Proficient in modeling tools Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro etc.
  • Certified on modeling and simulation platform Aspen Plus / Hysys / Pro-II / Dynsim, etc.
  • Able to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and control logics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong domain knowledge & Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
