A key role in our organization is available for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing projects driven by regulatory requirements, preferably within the financial services sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering a comprehensive program that aligns with Bermuda's data protection regulations, modeled closely on the European Union's GDPR framework. This includes leading the implementation of PIPA across all business units, conducting assessments of current policies and systems, and defining controls for data collection, storage, and sharing.

Additionally, the Project Manager will oversee the development of data mapping and inventory, establish governance structures, and manage vendor relationships related to data processing and privacy. They will also design and facilitate training programs for staff on data protection principles and prepare project plans, status reports, and risk registers.

To succeed in this role, the candidate should have strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills, as well as an ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable business processes. Experience with change management and business process re-engineering is an advantage.
