Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures protecting our systems, networks, and data.

The ideal candidate will have experience in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices. You will work closely with IT, DevOps, and Compliance teams to ensure robust cybersecurity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Security Solutions: Protect IT infrastructure, applications, and data from various threats.
  • Network Monitoring: Identify security breaches, anomalies, and threats on our networks and systems.
  • Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to strengthen our security posture.
  • Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans; lead response to security incidents effectively.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize potential risks.
  • Security Tool Management: Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security tools for optimal performance.
  • DevSecOps Integration: Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices, ensuring seamless security integration.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain and update security documentation, runbooks, and technical reports. Educate employees and developers on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Wireshark, etc.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture.
