Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled business development specialist to join our logistics team. This full-time, on-site role in Kolkata involves prospecting new leads, conducting outbound calls, and building relationships with logistics companies, carriers, and potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective logistics clients in English and Spanish.
- Promote logistics solutions to generate qualified leads.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication.
- Document all interactions, leads, and follow-ups accurately in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the logistics team for seamless onboarding of new clients.
- Meet and exceed daily/weekly call and conversion targets.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory.
- Proven experience in cold calling, telesales, or business development (logistics industry experience is beneficial).
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle objections and convert prospects into opportunities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficient with CRM tools and call tracking systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or logistics are advantageous.
