OCI Operations Expert

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to drive our organization's cloud strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy and manage scalable OCI operations to meet business requirements.
  • Configure and maintain Compute Instances, Storage, DRG, Internet Gateway, FastConnect, IPsec, and LBaaS services.
  • Set up and optimize OCI Tenancy for maximum efficiency.
  • Implement IPSec VPN configurations with client networks and secure group access through Bastion Services.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems within OCI.
  • Support application migration to OCI and configure VMs and storage accordingly.
  • Establish backup and recovery processes.
  • Configure DB systems and Data Guard database instances.
  • Deploy DBaaS and RAC configurations across domains.
  • Manage OCI Tenancy costs and develop strategies for cost optimization.
  • Administer tenancy management tasks including scripting and shutdown/start procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining live customer OCI environments.
  • Proficient in IDCS integration and possess in-depth knowledge of OCI services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
