SAP GRC Security Consultant

Objective:

To leverage expertise in SAP security to manage user access, roles, and authorizations within an organization. Key responsibilities include implementing and enforcing security policies, conducting regular audits and compliance checks, developing and maintaining security guidelines, resolving authorization-related issues, and providing training on security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations to ensure alignment with organizational security standards.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard user access and system integrity.
  • Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to identify and mitigate risks associated with user access and role management.
  • Resolve SAP authorization-related issues through collaborative efforts with functional and technical teams.
  • Work closely with the SAP Basis and ABAP teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures across the SAP landscape.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP security, specifically with SAP Basis, user roles, and authorizations.
  • Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including role management, authorization profiles, and troubleshooting security-related issues.
  • Familiarity with SAP security tools, such as SAP GRC, and knowledge of ABAP/technical aspects related to SAP security is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
