Software Development Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end products that simplify the book creation experience for authors and publishers.

Our ideal candidate will have expertise in software development and architecture, with strong collaboration and communication skills. They will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive and bring innovative products and services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and implement system architecture and underlying components.
  • Establish design principles and best practices for software development across multiple teams.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
