Platform Stability and Reliability

We are seeking a seasoned Professional to ensure the stability, availability, and reliability of our platform.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure platform meets performance, availability, and reliability Service Level Agreements.
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and risks in production environments.
  • Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to detect and prevent incidents.
Incident Management

The selected candidate will act as the primary responder for critical incidents, ensuring rapid mitigation and resolution. This includes conducting post-incident reviews and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Automation and Efficiency

The ideal candidate will build and maintain tools to automate routine tasks, such as deployments, scaling, and failover. They will also contribute to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline improvements for faster and more reliable software delivery.

Collaboration and Mentorship

The chosen individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability and usability. They will mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge and best practices in SRE and operational excellence.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and optimizing cloud-based environments, with 3+ years of experience in AWS.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Java, Node.js, or TypeScript.

The successful candidate should be proficient in CI/CD practices and tools, such as GitLab, Jenkins, or similar. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools is also required. Experience with Dynatrace is a plus.
