Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Observability Lead to establish and advance observability practices across Enterprise Data & Analytics Platforms.

This role ensures end-to-end visibility into platform performance, data pipeline health, system availability, and operational service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design comprehensive observability frameworks to monitor performance, reliability, and availability of EDAA data platforms and services.
  • Define and track key service level indicators, service level objectives, and key performance indicators across critical platform components and data pipelines.
  • Lead the integration of monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting tools to enable real-time insights and root cause analysis.
Skill Requirements
  • 11+ years of experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering, DevOps, or observability roles.
  • Strong expertise with observability tools and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of monitoring distributed data platforms, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
Mentorship and Collaboration

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration and align technical work with business outcomes. They will mentor and coach engineers and analysts on observability concepts and tools to build a culture of shared ownership and resilience.
