The role of the Business Intelligence Specialist will involve driving enterprise data platform (EDP) operations across process enhancement, cloud expenditure management (FinOps), automation, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing workflows and processes to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Building and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reports for leadership insights.
  • Supporting FinOps initiatives including cloud cost optimization and vendor management.
  • Contributing to infrastructure operations, resiliency planning, and automation.
  • Assisting in lifecycle management of IT platform products.

Required Skills include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and cloud operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or R programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and FinOps practices.
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) analytics.

Preferred Skills include:

  • Big data analytics platform experience.
  • Advanced FinOps or cloud cost management knowledge.
  • Utilities/Energy industry experience.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL) frameworks.
  • AWS / FinOps certifications.
