Director of Strategic Growth

As a pivotal member of the Asia Pacific Strategy Practice, this role plays a key part in expanding Portfolio Optimisation consulting services across the region.

This position focuses on high-priority areas that drive business growth for clients and Visa alike, including issuer optimisation.

Potential projects include:

  • Product design and launch
  • Sales acquisition channel optimization
  • Portfolio management diagnostics
  • Customer lifecycle management
  • Portfolio migrations
  • Roadmap development for strategic initiatives

This role requires collaboration with market teams across AP, supporting or leading project delivery in different geo-markets, and ensuring they have access to best practices and the latest IP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Leadership: Involving payment strategy review and roadmap design, driving client portfolio growth using Visa data, collaborating with data science teams, and developing industry landscape evaluations.
  • Business Development: Preparing client proposals, project plans, identifying dependencies, roles and responsibilities, scope, and deliverables.
  • Thought Leadership, Practice, and Solution Development: Creating set plays from popular solutions and other assets for Visa's market teams to scale reach and impact.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or at least 8 years of work experience in consulting and strategy with an Advanced degree.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of profitability drivers of financial institutions.
  • Ability to translate strategy into an internal and external narrative and connect dots between product development, strategy, operating plans, execution, data-driven insights, business acumen, and finance.
  • Excellent communication skills, maturity, and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels and organisations internal and external to Visa.
  • Strong executive presence as well as discipline.
