Mortgage Origination Lead

To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to manage and perform a variety of tasks with ease:

  • Direct daily management and performance reviews for team members.
  • Possess knowledge and skills for reviewing RESPA/ TRID requirements and other compliance regulations.
  • Elevate customer service by assisting in application processes, overseeing loan closings, and completing post-closing requirements efficiently.
  • Ensure high-quality mortgage loans by adhering to lender underwriting guidelines and federal regulations.
  • Develop coaching and training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Use quality data to improve lender decision making.
  • ID gaps in processes and assist in documenting procedures.
  • Built reporting suite for clear communication of performance.
  • Monitor and oversee loan production pipeline.
  • Meet department KPIs.
  • Prepare action plans for underperforming metrics.
  • Communicate key initiatives across teams.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as timecards, schedules, and vacations.
  • Continually review processes for improvement.
  • ID strategic and technology improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Direct daily management, performance reviews, and development of team members.
  • Compliance: Review and ensure adherence to RESPA/ TRID requirements and other regulatory compliance.
