Financial Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Analyst to join our organization. This is a client-focused role that requires working closely with our team to identify and nurture new business opportunities in the private debt space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and lender partners to facilitate the placement of debt financing
  • Develop client business overviews and Investment Memoranda (IM's)
  • Analyze client financial information and review financial statements
  • Create and maintain financial models (integrated 3-way models including P&L, Cashflow, and Balance Sheet)
  • Coordinate lender interactions with clients
  • Maintain project plans and adhere to internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition of our private debt solutions to clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and investment teams, to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement

Requirements:

  • Financial modeling, cash flow, and financial statement analysis skills
  • Ability to prepare high-quality marketing, investment, and credit papers with concise synthesis of diverse information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for strong relationship-building
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business finance or related field
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification desirable
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification desirable
