Business Development Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for achieving defined revenue and cost goals. You will build and write proposals with minimal senior team member support, including client briefings, solution design, and effective presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve defined revenue and cost goals.
  • Build and write proposals with minimum senior team member support, including client briefings, solution design, and effective presentations.
  • Participate in business development tasks, support marketing outreach programs, and develop industry decks, white papers, and case studies to support business growth.
  • Lead the development of a team specializing in techno-commercial research & advisory services in chemicals & materials, ensuring talent nurturing and recruitment.
  • Handle all client communication, including kick-off calls, deliverable presentations, and feedback discussions.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulating technical, business, and analytical discussions.
  • Apply strong analytical thinking and technical background to generate insights and actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical & material science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum six years of business research or consulting experience.
  • Proven primary research expertise, ability to train team members, and improve primary research skills.
  • End-to-end management experience for business research or consulting engagements, staying up-to-date with industry trends and challenges.
  • Excellent knowledge of market analysis, business analysis, technology analysis, competitor intelligence, and advanced MS Office skills.
  • Experience working with various management levels and self-organization skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business development principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
