We are seeking a skilled Freelance Engineer with expertise in authorization platforms, data governance, and fine-grained access control. The role involves designing and implementing policies that safeguard sensitive business and customer data across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Policies Development: Design, implement, and configure authorization policies to enforce fine-grained data access controls.
  • Integration Expertise: Integrate access control solutions with CRM platforms, cloud data warehouses, APIs, reporting tools, and AI/ML models.
  • Data Governance Support: Support the rollout of region- and country-specific access rules, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with data, engineering, and business stakeholders to refine access policies and ensure alignment with governance standards.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure data access governance supports privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Agile Delivery: Work in Agile delivery environments using tools such as JIRA (Cloud for execution, Align for planning).
  • Integration Initiatives: Contribute to upcoming integration initiatives across supply chain, commerce, and customer-facing applications.

Required Skills:

  • Authorization Platforms: Proven experience with authorization platforms (e.g., PlainID or other policy-based access control solutions).
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Strong background in data governance, access management, and compliance frameworks.
  • CRM and Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Enterprise Integrations: Understanding of enterprise integrations (APIs, applications, notification systems, and reporting pipelines).
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile teams with JIRA Cloud and Align for project tracking and planning.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

  • Regional Data Access Policies: Experience implementing regional or country-specific data access policies in global enterprises.
  • Commerce and Supply Chain Data Governance: Exposure to commerce or supply chain data governance.
  • Security and Authorization Models: Familiarity with security and authorization models such as RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust.
