We are seeking a seasoned PDF Accessibility Specialist to join our team.
As a key member of our digital content development group, you will be responsible for ensuring that our documents and publications meet accessibility standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include converting documents to accessible formats, conducting thorough accessibility audits, maintaining project documentation, and collaborating with various teams to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PDF conversion and accessibility, knowledge of accessibility guidelines such as WCAG, Section 508, and ADA, and familiarity with accessibility tools like JAWS, NVDA, or VoiceOver.
A strong analytical mind and exceptional communication skills are also essential for this role.
In addition to XML/ePub Analysts, we require individuals who can create, convert, validate, and quality assure digital content formats such as XML and ePub.
They will ensure that content meets industry standards, is accessible across multiple devices and platforms, and aligns with organizational specifications.
Key qualifications include experience in XML conversion and accessibility, knowledge of EPUB 3.0, DAISY, HTML5, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG, Section 508), and ability to collaborate with content developers, designers, and QA teams.
