Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and implement efficient and scalable data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies, as well as proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.

A key focus of the role will be to develop robust data models to support business intelligence and analytical needs, while also managing and optimizing ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

In addition, the Data Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine data requirements, ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems and processes, and apply best practices in data management, storage, and processing.

Responsibilities will also include conducting performance tuning of storage and queries for optimal efficiency, creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data architecture and flows, and troubleshooting data-related issues and providing timely solutions.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing cloud-based data solutions for scalability and cost-efficiency, researching and evaluating emerging data tools and technologies for potential adoption, and assisting in the design and implementation of data governance frameworks and policies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies
  • Proficient in SQL and relational database management systems
  • Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and design of scalable systems
  • Solid hands-on experience with ETL tools and workflows
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming/scripting languages
  • Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience implementing data quality measures and data governance
  • Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills
