Lead Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the design and development of our modern data platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows using industry-leading tools.
  • Develop transformation models using dbt and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow to ensure seamless integration.
  • Optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark for maximum performance.
  • Tune and manage relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake) to meet business needs.
  • Architect and maintain schemas using Star Schema, 3NF, and SCD2 methodologies to ensure data consistency.
  • Design and support lakehouse architectures and scalable storage solutions to meet growing demands.
  • Implement and enforce data governance, validation, and quality control mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain DevOps standards using CI/CD, GitFlow, and containerization tools like Docker and Ansible.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT design with experience in dbt, Airflow, and Spark.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, 3NF, SCD2) with proven ability to optimize and tune databases for performance.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaC tools with hands-on experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in collaborative, engineering-led environments with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based DevOps tools and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with data governance, validation frameworks, and pipeline monitoring with solid grasp of GitFlow and CI/CD pipelines.
