Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Expert Leader to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and contribute to the development of statistical methods and solutions.

About the Role:
  • This position will oversee the supervision of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers, providing guidance and direction on clinical research studies.
  • The successful candidate will provide expert consultation to projects across the organization on statistical methodology, solving complex problems and ensuring sound strategic, scientific, and statistical input.
  • This role will also involve leading the project team's development of study analysis plans and statistical programs, keeping abreast with current statistical and medical literature, and fostering innovation in biostatistics.
Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as a senior leader in the development and implementation of statistical methodologies and solutions.
  2. Oversee the work of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers, providing technical guidance and support.
  3. Provide expert consultation to projects across the organization on statistical methodology, including problem-solving and methodological advances.
  4. Lead the project team's development of study analysis plans and statistical programs.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current statistical and medical literature to ensure the adoption of sound methodologies.
  6. Foster innovation in biostatistics, continuously enhancing current statistical knowledge and practices.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of related experience with MS or 1 year of related experience with PhD.
  • Proven expertise in methodological statistical research, including publication and/or presentation of work in statistical methods development.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with statistical methods and applications in clinical research.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
