  • Modeling & Analytics: Develop, validate, and maintain complex statistical models utilizing advanced SAS and Python techniques.
  • Migration Leadership: Architect and execute a seamless SAS to Python migration strategy, ensuring minimal disruption to existing workflows.
  • Code Translation: Convert SAS macros, procedures, and workflows into optimized Python equivalents, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
  • Best Practices: Define modeling standards, workflows, and performance monitoring frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Mentorship: Guide team members on best practices for Python adoption, coding standards, and analytics workflows, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • SAS Mastery: Proficiency in Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, PROC SQL, and macros is essential for this role.
  • Python Expertise: Experience with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, and PySpark (a plus) will be beneficial in leveraging the full potential of Python.
  • Statistical Strength: Strong regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, and causal inference skills are required to drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Migration Experience: Proven success in leading large-scale SAS to Python transitions will be highly valued in this position.
