Seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced AI models for various applications. The successful candidate will have expertise in algorithm development, model deployment, and ensuring that models are modular, reusable, and deployable in resource-constrained environments.

The engineer will be responsible for designing and training models using naval-specific data and delivering them as end products. Additionally, they will fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for Navy-specific tasks, preprocess, label, and augment datasets, implement quantization, pruning, and compression for deployment-ready AI applications, and develop, train, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs and translation models for mission-critical AI applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in transformer-based architectures and hands-on experience with pretraining and fine-tuning methodologies such as Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), Instruction Tuning, Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), and Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, Adapters).

They will also be proficient in building multilingual and domain-specific translation systems using techniques like backtranslation, domain adaptation, and knowledge distillation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and train models using naval-specific data and deliver them as end products
  • Fine-tune open-source LLMs for Navy-specific tasks
  • Preprocess, label, and augment datasets
  • Implement quantization, pruning, and compression for deployment-ready AI applications
  • Develop, train, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs and translation models for mission-critical AI applications

Requirements:

  • B Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Statistics or related field
  • Minimum 75% marks or 8.0 CGPA in relevant engineering disciplines
  • Professional ML certifications from Google, AWS, Microsoft, or NVIDIA
