Business Development Manager
Job DescriptionThe incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies to achieve placement objectives of the institute.
The primary responsibility is to plan, organize and control all aspects of business development activities in assigned regions or industry clusters as per established guidelines.
Meetings with current recruiters are expected to strengthen relationships with them. These strong relationships will be leveraged to explore and expand job opportunities within each existing recruiter.
Identify potential companies that could be added to the list of recruiters in ISB and meet with stakeholders across multiple levels in those companies to set the stage for fruitful relationships.
Regularly update current and potential recruiters about developments in ISB and involve them in any major events of the institute to ensure their constant engagement.
Connect with students and representatives of student bodies to understand their career aspirations and preferences. This interaction ensures fruitful placements.
Building and nurturing a team of business development professionals is essential to ensuring overall team targets are met in line with departmental and school goals.
Research through the team will be driven, analyzing data on companies before qualifying them as potential recruiters. Supervising office operations and controlling costs is also a key responsibility.
