As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. This includes monitoring CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other vital server parameters on a regular schedule.
You will report any performance issues on the servers to the appropriate teams if beyond thresholds. Additionally, you will monitor scheduled tasks on the system and ensure their successful completion. If there are any failures in the tasks, you will rerun them.
You will also report any technical errors to L2/L3 teams for resolution. Furthermore, you will monitor the email, Teams channel, and ticketing system for new items/tickets and update them with initial responses as needed. You may also gather additional details from business/end users or other teams if required.
Your technical expertise will be invaluable in reproducing issues in the testing environment and providing inputs to the L2 team member. Finally, you will validate issue fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer inputs given (issue raised).
- This role requires 3-5 years of experience in supporting customers and managing either application or infrastructure support at an L1 level for at least 3 years.
- Prior experience in SailPoint or IAM system support is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a strong technical background in Java and scripting.
