About the Role:

This is a key position in our technology team where you will play a leading role in developing and delivering industry-leading technology solutions. As a senior technical expert, you will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers through their day-to-day processes, providing mentorship and facilitating engineering training. You will also be a central escalation point for production concerns and work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all areas of development and operations from pre-production to production.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers through their daily tasks.
  • Provide a central escalation point for production concerns.
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.
  • Act as a reliability monitor and support as needed to ensure products meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Software Architecture.
  • At least 10 years of overall experience in software development.
  • 6+ years of experience with Angular/AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and hands-on experience implementing complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, and services.
  • Hands-on experience with Gitlab/Github and working with CI/CD workflows.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Capacity to work in a distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices.
