Job Title: Catastrophe Modeling Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Catastrophe Modeling Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and ensuring the highest levels of exposure data accuracy and completeness.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 5-6 members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct high-quality risk assessments of individual accounts or portfolios based on provided information, ensuring accurate and timely account pricing.
  • Maintain exposure databases, analyzing their completeness and accuracy of information.
  • Support underwriters in all queries, exposure movement year over year.
  • Develop and implement process enhancements, contributing to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 6 years' experience in Cat modeling/Treaty modeling preferably with insurance/reinsurance experience.
  • Exposure to AIR touchstone, SQL, MS office proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including Excel manipulation and functions at a foundation level.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret model results and provide risk-specific observations.
  • Insurance certification/Insurance projects in dissertation.
  • Advance Excel/VBA programming language skills.
  • Team management skills, with ability to lead and motivate teams.
