Job Title: Data Systems Leader

About the Role:

The Data Systems Leader is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-performance data systems that drive business success.

This role requires expertise in designing and optimizing data architectures, deploying real-time and batch processing systems, and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Project Leadership & Delivery:
    • Lead end-to-end delivery of advanced data systems for critical applications, focusing on revenue management and high-impact use cases.
    • Ensure solutions meet KPIs and SLAs, delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Data Architecture Leadership:
    • Architect and oversee implementation of robust, scalable, and secure data architectures to support critical applications.
    • Design data models, schemas, and storage solutions optimized for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Team Management:
    • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of data engineers, architects, and performance engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Oversee deployment of high-scale systems handling real-time and batch processing workloads.
    • Leverage AI platform to design and scale system topologies, tuning components to meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • System Design & Optimization:
    • Design and implement data architectures that support scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability for critical applications.
  • Process & Standards:
    • Define and enforce best practices for advanced data systems delivery, data architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and performance testing strategies.
