Job Title: Contract Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our business operations, you will play a critical role in the creation, validation, and processing of contract documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Drafting Complex Contracts: Utilize approved standard and non-standard options to address all contract variations requested by Sales.
  • Validate Compliance: Ensure prepared documents are in compliance with Oracle guidelines and policies to mitigate corporate risk.
  • Project Manage Deals: Collaborate with teams such as Finance, Legal, Compliance, sales, and DPOs to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure Approval: Verify that all non-standard contract terms have been appropriately approved by Oracle.
  • Advisory Role: Assist Sales on necessary approvals for non-standard/Complex transactions.
  • Interpretation and Advice: Support internal teams by interpreting terms included in drafted documents and providing advice on non-standard terms.
  • Deal Manager Partnership: Partner with Deal Managers to ensure stakeholder expectations and deliverables are met.
  • Primary Contact: Act as the primary contact for the contracting process when a Deal Manager is not managing a deal.
  • Maintain Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with contract processes, systems, tools, and applications.
Requirements:
  • Legal Degree: Possess a legal degree with a strong understanding of contract law.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal background - drafting, abstraction, legal agreement review, and non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement exposure preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrated excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
