As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax advisory engagements and delivering high-quality results through collaboration and team unity.

  • Leading teams and driving project outcomes.
  • Managing delivery of tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters.
  • Responsibility for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax, and other tax filings.
  • Supervising tax assessment and litigation proceedings before the assessing officer, other income tax authorities, and higher appellate forums.
  • Training managers and other executives for their professional development and creating a stronger bench.
  • Delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and/or internal managed services.
  • Serving as a single point of contact (SPOC) for end-to-end tax operate engagements.
  • Internal client codes management from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections.
  • Business development, including identifying new opportunities actively and mining existing ones.
  • Contributing to firm eminence programs, events, written or speaking contributions at conferences, and thought leadership papers.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years' experience in Direct Taxation with a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
  • Preferred experience from a Big 4 firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, conceptual clarity, innovative thinking, and market trends awareness.
  • Effective communication, presentation, time, and cost management skills.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team, mentorship, and professionals' development.
