Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer II

About the Role:

A seasoned power electronics engineer with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing power systems for lithium-ion batteries in UAV or EV applications is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in power electronics, circuit design, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance power electronic systems for lithium-ion batteries in UAV or EV applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronic systems into overall system architectures.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of power electronic systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex power electronic issues to resolve system failures.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for power electronic systems.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in power electronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronic components, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, and power modules.
  • Experience with circuit design tools such as SPICE or LTSpice.
  • Familiarity with system-level simulation tools such as MATLAB or Simulink.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
