Senior Associate Job Description

We are a global enterprise offering diversified services to optimize client resources through an offshore capacity model. Our services include investment diligence, industry research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics.

The Legal department at our organization ensures agreements with clients, vendors, and third parties are compliant with company requirements and local regulations, providing advisory support and negotiating engagement terms.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including third-party contracts and operations agreements.
  • Provide timely legal advice on various matters, establishing contract management teams to meet post-contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to implement the legal strategy, providing advice to senior management and executives on legal matters.
  • Review and drive policies in compliance with regulations, including code of ethics, HR compliance, and POSH.
  • Manage intellectual property and real estate support.
  • Improve service quality by establishing new processes and checks.
  • Advising on entity formation and structuring, selecting jurisdiction and entity type.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Identify and consult on legal risks related to external partnerships, regulatory requirements, and cyber security.
  • Serve as lead counsel on strategic deals, resolving issues in existing relationships and handling pre-litigation disputes.

Prerequisites:

  • Understanding of financial services laws and diversified laws.
  • Corporate legal compliance, policies, and framework knowledge.
  • Ability to identify and develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
  • Leadership, team building, and management skills.
  • Highly collaborative with team orientation.
