Business Analyst Position

A key position available in our organization is for a Business Analyst with expertise in AS400 technology. The selected candidate will be responsible for the complete life cycle of development, including project implementation, coordination and execution.

  • Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of AS400 technology, ILE, DB2 and CL programs. Additionally, they should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

  1. AS400 Technology Expertise: Proficiency in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2 and ILE is required. Experience in working with modular programming in ILE-RPG, including modules and service programs, is also essential.
  2. Development Life Cycle: The successful candidate should have experience in the complete development life cycle, including project planning, execution and delivery.
  3. Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills are necessary to resolve issues during various phases of development.
  4. Coding: Ability to write complex CL programs and implement them effectively.
  5. DB2 Concepts: Familiarity with DB2 concepts and methodologies is required.
  6. Communication Skills: Good English communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance Domain Experience: Previous experience in the insurance domain, preferably in life insurance, is an added advantage.
  • Team Player: Ability to work as part of a larger team and ensure satisfactory deliveries.
  • Pressure Management: Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and flexible, with a desire for quality and a responsible approach.
