Technical Project Manager - Data Engineering Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall. They should be proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Microsoft Project.

  • Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and with efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Track project progress using tools like Jira and report status to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
