Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Manager for our General Insurance division in Ludhiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing insurance brokerage company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, achieving targets, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through agents
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential agents
- Coordinate with the underwriting team to provide accurate quotes and proposals
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales objectives
- Ensure timely and efficient handling of customer inquiries and claims
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and changes in insurance policies and regulations
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the management team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
- Fresher: Less than 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Sound knowledge of general insurance products and processes
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
