Job Title: Compliance and Risk Management SpecialistWe are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Compliance and Risk Management Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring that all business activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.About the Role:
  • Manage risk-based supervision activities, including data submission and representation of the department during RBI inspections.
  • Formulate responses to RAR observations from RBI in collaboration with various business segments and credit underwriting teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure timely dissemination and implementation of regulations and amendments.
  • Supervise the activities of CARO team members, including financial reporting, monitoring of key risk indicators, and assessment of all risks and associated controls.
  • Design new processes and controls to address gaps highlighted by operational risk assessments and audit reviews.
  • Review policies pertaining to wholesale coverage in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor compliance and operational risk dashboards and flag concerns to senior management.
  • Provide regular updates to segment heads and senior management on the status of risk mitigation plans.
Requirements:
  • Post-graduation degree from a reputable university or college.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in collections, risk, or financial control units.
  • In-depth knowledge of key drivers and indicators in relevant sectors.
  • Understanding of financial statements, ratios, and compliance and regulatory norms.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
