AVP Control Assurance Role

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of AVP Control Assurance. This position involves overseeing the design and effectiveness of controls across various risk domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of control frameworks to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with business processes and operations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to control assurance.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on control-related matters, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 8+ years of overall experience in controls assurance/testing, with a strong background in one or more horizontal/principal risks.
  • Proven knowledge of data analytics techniques and ability to apply them effectively in a control assurance context.
  • Strong understanding of principal risks in data governance, data lineage, data quality, records management, people risk, supplier risk, premises, GRS, and other relevant areas.
  • Basic minimum educational qualification – Graduate/ or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across a global team.
  • Experience in consolidating and processing information from multiple sources to create meaningful insights and reporting for stakeholders.
