Marine Engineering Leadership

This position is responsible for leading marine engineering activities in the design and implementation of offshore projects.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage project budgets and resources to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Lead teams of engineers and designers to develop detailed designs and specifications for marine systems and equipment.
  • Review and approve project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure they align with company objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with marine engineering projects to minimize cost and maximize returns on investment.
Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering with expertise in designing and implementing marine systems and equipment. They should be familiar with industry regulations, including ASME Sec. II/VIII, BS/EN, NORSOK, and API.

  • Strong knowledge of marine classification society rules and IMO regulations.
  • Experience in project management and planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks based on business goals.
Education and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant field and have relevant experience in marine engineering. A strong understanding of technical vocabulary and report-writing skills is also required.

  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of subcontinent languages is an added advantage.
