Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing network performance on customer networks 24/7 to meet service level expectations.

  • You will provide technical support and troubleshoot network platform issues, including alarm and KPI monitoring, proactive and reactive.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and communicate event status, and coordinate root cause analysis to mitigate complex technology fault conditions spanning multiple production platforms and environments.
  • Monitor and maintain system configurations to achieve designed performance and reliability levels using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct root cause analysis on network faults.
  • Effectively manage ISPs and equipment vendors.
  • Articulate well with customer technical and management staff on network issues, such as fault reporting, status updating, and handling escalations.
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) to customers for problem reporting.
  • Take care of incoming calls from customers, ISPs, and counterparts of other centers.
  • Perform problem isolation and resolution, including verifying services, working with ISPs for circuit-related issues, and carrying out internal and external escalations.
  • Schedule testing tasks with ISPs, customer site personnel, and other support centers.
  • Facilitate direct communication among customers, and suppliers by establishing conference meetings, updating problem ticketing systems, and other operation-related tools.
  • Request and interface with Tiered supports and Service Management to address customer issues.
