Cloud Data Platform Lead

This strategic role focuses on building and scaling a cloud data platform, driving technical excellence and delivering high-impact data solutions.

As a visionary leader, you will collaborate with clients and delivery teams to shape the data strategy and lead innovation across engagements.

You'll develop and enhance data offerings, lead solution architecture for proposals and RFPs, and provide technical oversight on data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Databricks-based accelerators and reusable frameworks
  • Lead solution architecture for proposals and RFPs
  • Provide technical oversight on Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Spark
  • Guide delivery teams on best practices and performance optimization
  • Build and mentor a high-performing Databricks talent pool
  • Partner with sales and pre-sales to position data solutions
  • Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and innovation initiatives

Requirements:

  • 12–15 years in Data Engineering, Analytics, or AI/ML
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Databricks
  • Deep expertise in Spark, Delta Lake, Python/Scala, SQL, and orchestration tools
  • Experience with MLOps, Unity Catalog, Feature Store, and model lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP integrations and BI tools
  • Strong background in solution architecture, presales, and stakeholder engagement
  • GCP/AWS/Azure certifications preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Prior experience in IT consulting or technology services
