Senior Solar Sales Professional

Job Description:

As a seasoned Senior Solar Sales Professional, you will be responsible for driving business growth and client satisfaction by leading sales strategies for solar projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Business Development
    • Develop sales plans aligned with company objectives and market research to identify new opportunities.
    • Build strong networks with decision-makers in government, commercial, and industrial sectors.
    • Deliver impactful presentations explaining solar energy solutions.
  • Proposal & Contract Management
    • Collaborate on accurate technical and financial proposals.
    • Work with technical teams to define project scope and cost estimates.
    • Support contract negotiations and finalize agreements.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Maintain relationships through regular communication and post-sales support.
    • Address queries and resolve issues.
    • Ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for seamless delivery.
    • Track progress against timelines and budgets while aligning with client expectations.
    • Monitor completed project performance and suggest improvements.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting
    • Maintain records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
    • Provide periodic sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Head.
    • Analyse data to improve strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge & Networking
    • Stay updated on solar technology, policies, and trends.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in solar sales or related field.
  • Strong understanding of solar technologies and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, marketing, engineering).
