Job Title: Product Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Product Engineering Leader to spearhead the development of innovative product lines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leaders, product managers, developers, quality analysts, and infrastructure specialists to establish a robust product engineering process.
  • Develop and drive the execution of a product roadmap for multiple product lines.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy the right tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to help product engineers work faster and solve technology problems more effectively.
  • Responsible for product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance within agreed time frames.
  • Own all non-functional requirements for products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
  • Adapt and iterate quickly based on user and business feedback and metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in PDCs (Product Development Companies)
  • Well-versed in Agile software development and management methods (user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.)
  • Adept at using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch
  • Value progress over perfection and have a track record of shipping value to customers
  • Hands-on and extremely confident with Typescript
  • Experienced with JavaScript-based front-end frameworks like React, Vue, Angular or Svelte and back-end technologies like Node.js
  • Well-versed in service-oriented architecture and have built and deployed RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints
  • Built and shipped features for high-traffic web applications and mobile applications
  • Good with RDBMS (preferably MySQL) and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB
  • Familiar with using observability tools to identify and isolate problems
  • Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • BE/B.Tech or any equivalent degree with 12 - 20 years of relevant experience
