Highly Skilled Cybersecurity Professional Wanted

The role of a Network Cybersecurity Engineer is to oversee the security of an organization's network infrastructure. This involves designing, implementing and managing various security protocols to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing Zscaler Secure Internet Access: The Network Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining the Zscaler platform to ensure secure internet access for both internal customers and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Firewall Support: The engineer will provide support and maintenance for state-of-the-art NGFW layer 7 firewalls, including policy design/configuration, rule optimization, and troubleshooting.
- DDoS Protection: The Network Cybersecurity Engineer will implement and manage DDoS protection solutions using cloud scrubbing technology.
- Remote Access Technologies: The engineer will support and maintain advanced remote access technologies to ensure secure connectivity for remote users.
- Incident Response: In the event of a security incident, the Network Cybersecurity Engineer will collaborate with the Digital Perimeter Security team to respond quickly and effectively.
- Documentation: Accurate and up-to-date documentation of security products, configurations, policies, and incident response procedures will be maintained by the engineer.
- Collaboration: The Network Cybersecurity Engineer will work closely with other IT and security teams to ensure seamless operation and integration of security tools and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ Years of Networking Experience: A strong background in networking, including network infrastructure, Data Center technologies, and Cloud compute, is essential for this role.
- Network Troubleshooting Skills: Proficiency in network troubleshooting, including the use of Wireshark and other network tools, is required.
- SSL, HTTP/HTTPS Troubleshooting: Knowledge of SSL, HTTP/HTTPS troubleshooting via browsers (performance and errors) is necessary.
- Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 Routing: Familiarity with IPv4/IPv6 routing, DNS, load balancing, PAC files, proxies, and other layer 2- 7 concepts is required.
- Experience with AAA Systems: Experience with AAA systems such as LDAP, MS AD, ID tokenization (SAML/OAuth), etc., is necessary.
