We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Application Technical Support Engineer. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems.

About the Job
  • As an Application Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to stakeholders through problem investigations, analysis, and troubleshooting user issues.
  • You will work closely with various application teams to ensure reliable application services through effective collaboration and communication.
  • You will coordinate with multiple teams to raise support tickets, analyze root causes, and resolve all production issues.

You will also be responsible for monitoring alerts and incidents affecting the production environment and escalating as necessary. Strong technical understanding of system platforms such as UNIX, Windows, and Oracle is essential for this role.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have hands-on experience with automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible playbook.

Requirements
  • A total of 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience is required for this role.
  • Strong skills in scripting languages such as Unix Shell, Power Shell, or Python.
  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles is preferred.
  • Prior experience in managing production applications and servers is also required.
