The Sales Trainer will be responsible for equipping sales teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to sell the company's products effectively. The role involves both off-the-job (classroom and online training) and on-the-job (live sales support and shadowing) training approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver, and assess training programs aimed at improving the sales team's product knowledge, selling techniques, and overall performance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales training role in a product-based company.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, including consultative selling, objection handling, and closing strategies.
  • Deep product knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn and adapt) in product based IT company.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and feedback-giving skills.
  • Proficiency in training tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.).

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Sales certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader, Sandler Training, etc.) is a plus.

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000, depending on location and experience.
