Customer Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to provide top-notch support to our customers. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot customer issues and conduct thorough root cause analysis.
  • Guide and assist customers on product usage, ensuring they achieve maximum value.
  • Manage customer data import/export from production systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process confidential data and information according to strict guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of product content for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems, providing valuable insights.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product customer support, demonstrating expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with a proven track record of problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language.
  • Strong documentation skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
  • Strong customer relationship skills, with a focus on responsiveness, sensitivity, and diplomacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud-based products, preferably on AWS.
  • Proficiency in issue tracking software like HubSpot, GitLab, JIRA.
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Perl) for automating tasks.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
