Procurement Specialist

As a seasoned Procurement professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process from sourcing to payment. Your key responsibilities will include managing teams, stakeholders, and escalated issues.

  • Review material requirements and specifications, float RFQs, receive bid responses, prepare, analyze, and share bid responses with relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience in reviewing and releasing purchase orders, reconciling purchase orders, resolving supplier queries, following up on critical purchases, and expediting critical purchase orders.
  • Maintain master data and updates accordingly.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Establish and monitor issue management, change management, and quality management processes.
  • Organize timely meetings between teams, suppliers, and customers for issue resolution.
  • Prepare project status reports and submit them to senior management and customers for reviews.
  • Drive governance calls with stakeholders.
  • Possess hands-on experience with ERP systems such as JDE/SAP and Ariba or related buying tools.
  • Be willing to work flexible shift timings.

  • Root cause analysis skills.

Good to Have:

  • Significant exposure to one or more IT tools for supply chain planning.
  • Understanding of supply chain for Oil & Gas or Energy Services industry.
  • Creation of Power BI dashboards.
  • Understanding of Spend Analytics, Catalogue Management, Contract Management.
  • Experience in purchasing, sourcing, and supplier management for goods/services.
