About the Role

VCMint is a venture-scale investor seeking a seasoned Chief Investment Officer to spearhead its investment engine.

  • As CIO, you will own the funnel from sourcing to portfolio support, crafting theses, building deal pipelines, and driving diligence excellence.
  • You will work closely with our founders to maintain a high-quality pipeline, develop thematic theses, and leverage your network to find non-obvious opportunities.
  • Key responsibilities include evaluation, IC preparation, diligence leadership, transaction execution, and portfolio support.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A strong background in deal evaluation, preferably as an ex-founder/operator or investor, with expertise spanning seed to growth stages.
  • Credible access across founders, angels, bankers, and operators, particularly within India.
  • Strong analytical skills, including unit economics, cohort retention, marketplaces, SaaS metrics, and working-capital cycles.
  • Diligence-ready, with hands-on experience in LDD/FDD scopes, ability to frame key questions, and pressure-test assumptions.
