Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our investment team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing comprehensive financial models, and preparing detailed investment memos and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data to evaluate investment opportunities across asset classes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for management and the investment committee.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, key metrics, and market trends.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation initiatives.
  • Conduct variance analysis on actual vs. forecasted results and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior analysts on financial modeling and analysis best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and implementation of analytical tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or corporate finance, preferably in an investment company, asset management, or private equity environment.
  • Strong understanding of valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
