Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated backend engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend services.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about technology, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and MongoDB is required, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Integrate MongoDB and other data layers for performance and scalability.
  • Solve complex problems with minimal guidance, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and scalability of systems.
  • Collaborate in designing backend architecture to ensure efficient processing and data management.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in backend/full-stack engineering.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, and MongoDB.
  • Experience using Docker.
  • English or Spanish proficiency at C1 or C2 level, both written and spoken.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tasks with minimal information.
  • Ownership mentality: You are proactive, accountable, and willing to take on responsibility beyond your role.
  • Availability to work in US East Coast time zone.
